About Ville
From spreadsheets to storytelling
Some moments just click. For me, it started when I photographed a good friend’s wedding — but the shift had already begun long before that, when I left my corporate career behind to pursue photography full time.
I’m Ville. Born in Finland, now living in Amersfoort with my wife Margot. We met at a yoga retreat in Portugal, got married in Mallorca, and now share our home (and my editing space) with our cat Nala.
Business photography with a personal touch
Before photography, I worked for years as a business controller — a world of numbers, structure, and deadlines. That background now helps me bring clarity and calm into every project I take on.
Today, I focus on corporate photography, especially interior shoots and branding sessions for entrepreneurs, creative businesses, real estate, architects, hospitality, and more. Having worked in business myself, I understand what companies need: clean, professional images that build trust and reflect their identity.
Alongside corporate work, I still photograph weddings in the Netherlands and Mallorca — and I bring that same sensitivity, attention to detail, and natural storytelling style into everything I shoot.
A few things I love beyond the camera
You’ll often find me on my road bike — especially in the hills of Mallorca. My longest solo ride? 122 kilometers with 3000 meters of climbing. I’m currently training for the Mallorca 312. I also practice yoga, enjoy hiking, love playing board games with Margot, and often edit photos with our cat Nala curled up on my lap.
I speak Finnish, English, and Spanish — and my Dutch is getting better every day (even if there’s still the occasional mistake 😉).
