Doing a loveshoot can also be a great way to build a stronger relationship between you and me which results in being more comfortable in front of the camera. It offers also an opportunity for me to understand your vision better and for you to practice some posing without the stress of a wedding day.

When you book one of my wedding packages, I’m offering a loveshoot for €197 (up to 2 hours). When you’d like to do a loveshoot without booking a wedding package, the cost is €347.

Booking and Payment Questions

Planning your special day? Don't leave anything to chance - I recommend securing me as your wedding photographer at least 6-12 months in advance of your date. Get in touch with me today and I'll come back to you if I'm free on your day of tying the knots.

Capturing your special day is a huge commitment, and making sure that you get enough coverage for all the memorable moments should be priority number one. To help ensure this happens I normally arrive 30-60 minutes before you finish your dressing up and leave 30-60 minutes after the dancing & party has started - guaranteeing I'll never miss an important detail! Want to book me for your wedding? Send me a message via my website, Instagram or Facebook page, or call me – whatever you prefer. Let’s talk!

After you book with me, let's meet for a coffee or through Whatsapp / Teams video call to get to know each other. We'll go over your plan for the day, your wishes and what you are expecting from my side thoroughly. And remember that I'm only a phone call away if you ever have any questions at all. Then as your special day approaches, we can reconfirm our plan together to make sure nothing slips through the cracks!

I request a €150 deposit to make sure that your chosen date will be reserved for you.

Despite our best intentions, life can throw us a curveball and we may be faced with an unexpected change - like perhaps cancelling the wedding. As I have held the date for you and said yes to your special day, it, unfortunately, means that no’s must be said for other couples for that date. If cancellation is informed with more than 45 days' notice before the big day zero charges will apply and your deposit will be refunded. Unfortunately though, if cancellation occurs later than 45 days before the assigned date as agreed upon in my contract I’m still liable to charge you according to the contract; 50% for cancellations between 45-7 days and 100% for cancellations within 7 days of the event.

I understand how important your special day is, so I'm happy to accommodate a change of date if necessary and if possible. If the request comes less than 45 days before your initial wedding date, an additional 20% extra of the agreed package amount may apply due to having sacrificed other opportunities on that same date. But this can be taken on a case-by-case basis.

When booking my The Complete wedding package, all travel costs within the Netherlands are included (with the exception of the Wadden Island).
When booking my other wedding packages, travel costs within a radius of 100 km from Amersfoort are included. Outside of that, it is € 0.30 per additional kilometer.
Wedding in Mallorca

All travel costs are included in the packages within Mallorca. This is only valid if I stay in Mallorca.

At weddings, things can sometimes take a bit longer than expected. I'm always there to capture all the special moments until your contracted time is over. If you'd like me to stay even later, it's no problem—I'll let you know in advance what my rate will be for any extra hours needed!

After the special day, I would love to send you an invoice for your wedding package deducted from the paid deposit. When the final bill has been settled, I'll provide a link to download all of your photos from the special day.

Paying your invoice has never been easier! Bank transfers are welcome from everyone, and Dutch clients can enjoy the convenience of Tikkie.

For me, love knows no seasons and each wedding deserves the same attention to detail. That's why I don't offer discounts on weekday or off-season weddings - capturing your special memories is my passion!

Style and Quality Questions

Capturing the perfect wedding photographs involves more than just taking pictures. As your wedding photographer, my focus is on ensuring that you and your partner can enjoy your special day without worrying about the photos. To capture all the big moments as well as little details, emotions, tears, and laughs. I genuinely believe that wedding photos should be much more than a photo shoot - they should reflect all the love and emotion of your wedding day.

My style in wedding photography is editorial, with a goal of evoking and stirring emotions by providing a wide variety of natural-looking and candid images – timeless images you can treasure forevermore.

Style is my signature - I'm open to subtle adjustments with my images, but the final product that I capture will be in-line with what you've seen on my website and Instagram!

When I'm out shooting, I always opt for the RAW format. It gives me greater control over editing options such as exposure and white balance corrections in post-production - something JPEGs don't offer. Once all of my edits are complete, you can then download your images as convenient JPEGs which you can easily view on your phone or laptop of choice.

To keep things relaxed and candid don’t feel like you need to stick to too tight of a shot list - it's important that I'll capture all the important wedding photos from your dress and flowers to the first kiss etc, but also those unplanned real moments which are bound to happen naturally throughout! If there are any certain portrait poses or must-have photos, let me know ahead so we can get them captured with ease. In general though, I suggest being comfortable with letting things flow naturally in front of my camera lens - trust me on this one; the pictures will look much better that way.

Editing questions

That you can properly appreciate every moment caught on camera, duplicates are removed as well as images out-of-focus or images with bad facial expressions. I strive to capture the best of your moments and choose photos with thoughtfulness. I don't believe in quantity over quality - each photo is carefully taken, edited, and chosen for its true emotional value.

I'm here to give your images the special treatment they deserve! I All pictures will be lovingly edited according to my signature style, focused on preserving natural tones and lighting. Every picture is enhanced with post-production touches such as white balance correction, exposure & tone adjustments and cropping so that you can remember your milestone moments in stunning clarity. Selective pictures will be converted into black & white for an added touch of elegance! The result? Magical photos that celebrate you two lovebirds at centre stage 💛

Take into account that by default I don’t remove permanent markings (scars, moles, freckles etc) on your face. If you find permanent markings detrimental to your wedding photos, those can be removed. I'm happy to discuss enhancing or removing any unwanted markings - let me know ideally before the wedding. Although it's a complex custom post-production task that requires Photoshop expertise and extra time commitment on my part - there may be added fee depending on the picture volume & retouch requirements needed. I’ll give you a quote before starting this.

Basically everything is possible with Photoshop. Get rid of unnecessary guests in the picture or touch up unwanted blemishes - a few clicks and the perfect shot is ready. Whether it's colorizing clothing or diminishing bags under eyes, turn any image into an awe-inspiring work of art. Although it's a complex custom post-production task that requires Photoshop expertise and extra time commitment on my part - there may be added fee depending on the picture volume & retouch requirements needed. I’ll give you a quote before starting this.

To create a beautiful photo collection and integrity, I love to include a mix of 20-30% black and white shots with pictures with colours. Everyone has diverse tastes which are why I'm all ears when it comes to your desired photo style; whether you’re more into the vibrancy of colour or prefer the mysterious depths of monochrome – just drop me a line before the big day!

Album Questions

Let me preserve your precious memories in a timeless album - filled with as many pages of your love story. As a standard I offer 30 spreads for the albums. Every extra page will be crafted with the same care for an additional charge.

Yes, with plenty of materials to choose from, you're sure to find the perfect fit for your needs!

Covers: With a variety of cover materials and colours to choose from, you can make your wedding photo album truly unique. You have the opportunity to pick between luxurious leathers to soft linens, and to elegant velvets.

You can also personalize the cover of your wedding album by adding laser-etched text or embossed lines. Create a look that's just as unique and special as the pages within it!

Pages: Your photos will look vibrant and luxurious printed on our high-quality album paper. You can choose from three options - Lustre, Matte and Glossy. As an upgrade option, I offer the beautiful Pearl Metallic.

I offer three sizes: 25 x 25, 25 x 30 and 30 x 30 cm.

After I have delivered the perfect photos to you, it's time for us to go through the fun stuff - You can pick out your favourite images and we can decide on an album size and style that please you the most! I'll make sure that images are crafted with care for the wedding photo album. We'll then review it together so we can adjust any details as needed - up until 3 times if necessary. Then all there's left for me do is order it off just for you.

The estimated production time is few weeks. The delivery time varies based on the destination country.

If the wedding album isn't quite what you're looking for, don't worry! I'll give you then 100 euros off my packages when booking - all without sacrificing those beautiful memories of yours.

Image Download and Rights

Typically full day wedding day is 400-600 pictures. Each wedding is unique, so no two weddings will be captured in quite the same way - taking into account everything from size to timeline and more. I'll capture from beautiful surroundings to dazzling details and loved ones you cherish - no memory is left behind.

Once I'm finished editing your pictures, you'll receive a personal link to an online gallery - password-protected for added security. You can view and download the photos from this special collection with ease, plus share access if you'd like friends and family members to be able to join in on all the celebrations!

I strive to provide a sneak peek of your special day within four days. Then, I'll work diligently on editing the rest until they're perfect! The timing will depend on factors such as how big your wedding was and when it took place - naturally summer-autumn tend to be my busiest times so that can add some extra time for delivery. It's my goal however, is to have you enjoying all those heartfelt memories from one month after tying the knot or sooner if possible! Should any issues arise with meeting this standard timeframe then I promise always let you know in advance.

You're free to keep and print your images as much as you'd like - they are yours after all! However, if the commercial distribution is what you have in mind, consult with me first.

Of course. As references are important to me, let your followers know that @photos.byville is the source of these photos! As photographs are works of art I ask you to remain images unfiltered - just like how they were meant to be seen.

Yes, I have rights to use photos for my business promotions, including showcasing them on my website and social media platforms in addition to submitting them for awards - just let me know if this is something which causes concern beforehand!

General Questions

Yes, I do. My main focus is always photography but for an extra 250 euros I'm happy to film and create few minutes long highlight story of your wedding day. To make the video more meaningful for you, I would use your choice of music for the video.

If you're inviting more than 100 of your nearest and dearest, having two photographers on hand is a good idea to ensure everyone's moments are remembered with care. Let me help make your special day even more complete by providing an additional photographer - get in touch for my best quote.

I use Sony A7IV and for lenses I use mostly Sony 50mm F1.2 GM and depending on the location, 70-200mm F2.8 GMII and 35mm F1.4 GM and 16-35 F2.8 GMII.

Capturing moments with the soft, warm embrace of natural light has always been my priority for special occasions like weddings. Also, some wedding venues have restrictions on flash photography. My camera and lenses tackle the issue with superb low-light performance. However, I’ll have always a flash with me, in case needed.

Fluency in three languages of English, Spanish and Finnish and I'm taking now a journey of discovery into the fascinating world of Dutch language and culture!
