Personal Branding Photoshoot with Team MayerVirtanen | Sports and Figure Skating Photography
Team MayerVirtanen is owned by professional figure skaters Valtter Virtanen and his wife Alina Mayer-Virtanen, who is also a professional figure skater coach. The duo have spent the past three years organising figure skating camps at Peurunka and Suolahti, near Jyväskylä, in central Finland. At the camp, figure skaters can improve their figure skating skills with guidance from the international coaching team and activities such as off-ice training and dance & mobility training.
Personal branding photoshoot on & off ice
Recently, I had the pleasure of working with Team MayerVirtanen to create a personal branding photoshoot that captured the joy of figure skating from the ice as well as the hard work done off the ice. The photoshoot included portrait photographs of the coaches, shots of the figure skaters enjoying the guidance of the coaches, and shots of the physical training taking place outside. I also created a commercial video for Team MayerVirtanen that promoted the camps of 2023.

The branding photoshoot was a great success and the video and images are sure to draw in new figure skaters to the camps. It was amazing to work with the passion and dedication of the coaches and the participants. It was clear that everyone was having a great time, and that figure skating was a true passion.
