The Kiikoinen Church is an old church that has been standing since 1851. This historic building provided an enchanting backdrop for Annika and Marko’s special day. The exterior of the church is made entirely of wood and features beautifully carved details around its windows and doors. Inside the church, you will find high ceilings with wooden beams, ornately-carved pews, and stained glass windows. It was truly the perfect setting for Annika and Marko to share their vows of love with each other – and all their family and friends who had travelled from near and far to witness this momentous occasion.

After the ceremony, it was time for a photoshoot! The happy couple chose one of Finland’s most beautiful rural environments – Myllymäen torpparimuseoalue – as their backdrop for these special photos. Located in western Finland, this area is known for its lush green fields dotted with wildflowers that bloom in summertime. With forest in the background, it provided an idyllic setting for Annika and Marko’s wedding photos that will be treasured forever.

The wedding celebration concluded at Kiikoisten Seurantalo where everyone gathered to enjoy amazing food prepared by local caterers as well as stories shared by family members about Annika and Marko’s love story. There were also heartfelt speeches from close friends wishing them a lifetime of happiness together!
