When you enter a space, it's hard not to take in the design. From the furniture to the decorations, from the wall art to the flooring, all these elements come together to create an atmosphere that is unique and inviting. Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph an office designed by KM Interiors Oy in Tampere, Finland. As soon as I stepped into the office space, I was taken aback by its beauty and warmth. Let’s dive right into what made this design so special.
The Common Area - Green Carpet and Natural Light
The common area in this particular office was especially beautiful. The colour palette was neutral white combined with different tones of grey — but using as contrast strong green. In addition to its lovely colours, one of my favourite features of this room was its natural light. Sunlight beamed through several windows around the room, giving it a warm and calming quality. On top of that, there were plenty of comfortable couches and chairs for visitors or employees who wanted to relax for a bit before getting back to work.
Meeting Rooms - Gorgeous Wall Arts
The meeting rooms were equally impressive. Located at various points around the office space, each room had its unique look and feel—but they all shared one thing in common: gorgeous whole wall size wall art. Wall art describes different seasons in Finnish nature.
In short, KM Interiors Oy did an amazing job designing this office space! The combination of green carpeting and natural light gave it a cosy feel while still maintaining its professional vibe; meanwhile, the wall art added personality without being too distracting from what mattered—getting work done!
