It's totally normal to feel a bit overwhelmed sometimes, especially when you're planning a destination wedding in such a breathtaking location.

But when it comes to picking the perfect photographer for your Mallorca destination wedding, you don't have to worry. With my experience and knowledge of capturing special moments in beautiful places like Mallorca, you can feel confident that your once-in-a-lifetime event will be captured beautifully. These photos will be a cherished reminder of your unforgettable celebration in this Mediterranean paradise.

Taking great wedding photos is about more than just taking pictures. As your photographer, my main focus is to make sure you and your partner enjoy every moment of your Mallorca wedding without stressing about the photos. I want to capture all the big and small moments – the exchange of vows against the backdrop of Mallorca's breathtaking landscapes, the tears of joy, the heartfelt laughter. I truly believe that wedding photos should be a reflection of the love and happiness that fill the air during your wedding in Mallorca.

My style of wedding photography is like storytelling. I aim to capture genuine emotions and create timeless pictures that you'll treasure forever, so whenever you look back at them, you'll be transported back to your magical Mallorca wedding.

How Do I Work?

Before the wedding

  • We will have a 1st meeting to get to know each other and to understand your wishes and expectations. This meeting is 100% free and without any obligations.
  • When we move forward I’ll set up a contract and block your wedding day in my calendar.
  • We will schedule a 2nd meeting a few weeks before the wedding to go through your timeline and discuss all important aspects. If needed, an additional meeting can be scheduled for any remaining wishes/ details to discuss.

After the wedding

  • Within 4 days after the wedding, you will receive a few previews shots.
  • Within 1 month after the wedding, you will receive all edited pictures. You will receive them via an online password protected gallery, so you can share it with your loved ones. - If included in the package, your wedding video will also be delivered within one month after the wedding. Any additional wishes or changes from your side will be processed as soon as possible.
  • You will pick your favorite pictures you want to have included in the wedding album. I’ll create a first draft of the wedding album within 1 week after your selection. Any additional wishes or changes from your side will be processed as soon as possible.
  • When you are 100% happy with album layout and you have done all decisions for the album material etc, your album will be ordered and delivered as soon as possible - having all memories forever with you.

How Do I Work?

FAQ

Booking and Payment Questions

To be sure I’m available for your date, I recommend booking 6 to 12 months in advance. Reach out as soon as you have a date in mind — no pressure, just a friendly chat to get started.

You can get in touch via my website, Instagram, or email. Once we’ve connected and everything feels like a good fit, I’ll send over a booking agreement and ask for a deposit to secure your date.

Yes — a €150 deposit locks in your date. The rest is paid after the wedding, once you receive your final invoice.

If you cancel more than 45 days before the wedding, the deposit is refunded. Closer to the date, cancellation fees may apply. If something comes up and you need to move the date, I’ll always do my best to accommodate — and if it’s within 45 days, a small extra fee may apply depending on the case.

Yes, travel within the Netherlands is included in my “Complete” package. For other packages, I include up to 100 km from Amersfoort, and charge €0.30/km beyond that. For weddings in Mallorca, travel is fully included.

Style and Quality Questions

I typically arrive about 30–60 minutes before the final touches of getting ready, and stay 30–60 minutes into the dancing. That way, I can capture the full flow of your day without missing the important moments.

Absolutely. Once you’ve booked, we’ll set up a video call (or grab a coffee) to talk through your plans and what matters most to you. I’m also always just a message away if you have questions along the way.

I focus on capturing your day naturally and calmly, without constant direction. My goal is to document all the big emotions and small in-between moments so you can relive the feeling and energy of the day.

Editorial and emotional — timeless images that feel real. I aim for a natural, relaxed atmosphere with genuine connection and movement. No stiff posing, just you being you.

If you have a few must-haves, I’d love to know! But I recommend keeping it simple — the most powerful photos often come from the unscripted moments.

Editing Questions

You’ll receive all the best photos from the day — carefully selected and edited in my signature style. For a full-day wedding, this usually means around 700 to 900 images. I go through every photo to ensure the collection truly reflects your day, with natural tones and thoughtful editing.

All photos are delivered in colour. If you’d like, I can also provide around 40 to 50 photos in black & white to add an emotional and timeless touch to your gallery.

You’ll receive a sneak peek within 4 days, and the full gallery within about 4 weeks. Summer and autumn are busier periods, so it can take a bit longer — but I’ll always keep you in the loop.

Small retouching is sometimes possible. Let me know before the wedding if there’s anything specific you’d like adjusted. For more detailed Photoshop work, I’ll give you a custom quote based on what’s needed.

You’ll receive a personal link to a private online gallery, where you can view, download, and share your wedding photos with family and friends.

Album Questions

Once you've received your photos, you can choose your favourites and we’ll decide on the album style and size together. I’ll then create the design and share it with you — and we’ll adjust the layout as needed until it really feels right for you. Once you're happy, I’ll place the order.

Yes! You can choose from linen, velvet, or leather covers in a range of colours. You can even personalize the cover with your names in laser-etching or embossing. For paper, I offer Lustre, Matte, Glossy, or the luxurious Pearl Metallic as an upgrade.

The standard album includes 30 spreads. If you'd like more, extra pages can be added for an additional cost.

You can choose between 25 x 25 cm, 25 x 30 cm, or 30 x 30 cm.

No problem! If you prefer not to include an album in your package, you’ll receive a €100 discount.
That said, I highly recommend having an album — there’s something special about holding your wedding story in your hands. It’s a beautiful keepsake you’ll return to again and again.

Image Download and Rights

Yes! While my main focus is photography, I offer a short wedding day highlight film for €250 — edited with music of your choice. A simple way to capture even more of the feeling of the day.

For weddings with over 100 guests or multiple locations, a second photographer can be a great idea. Let me know your plans and I’ll recommend what works best.

I prefer using natural light wherever possible — it gives a softer and more authentic look. But I always bring a flash just in case it’s needed for darker settings or evening dance floors.

English, Spanish, Finnish — and I’m learning Dutch! So whether you’re local, international, or somewhere in between, we’ll understand each other just fine.

Absolutely! Just tag @photos.byville when you do. I put a lot of care into each photo, so I kindly ask you to keep them unfiltered so the colours and vibe stay just as intended.

General Questions

Yes, I do. My main focus is always photography but for an extra 250 euros I'm happy to film and create few minutes long highlight story of your wedding day. To make the video more meaningful for you, I would use your choice of music for the video.

If you're inviting more than 100 of your nearest and dearest, having two photographers on hand is a good idea to ensure everyone's moments are remembered with care. Let me help make your special day even more complete by providing an additional photographer - get in touch for my best quote.

I use Sony A7IV and for lenses I use mostly Sony 50mm F1.2 GM and depending on the location, 70-200mm F2.8 GMII and 35mm F1.4 GM and 16-35 F2.8 GMII.

Capturing moments with the soft, warm embrace of natural light has always been my priority for special occasions like weddings. Also, some wedding venues have restrictions on flash photography. My camera and lenses tackle the issue with superb low-light performance. However, I’ll have always a flash with me, in case needed.

Fluency in three languages of English, Spanish and Finnish and I'm taking now a journey of discovery into the fascinating world of Dutch language and culture!
