How a friend’s wedding changed everything
It all started with a camera and a lot of curiosity. On holidays, on quiet weekends, teaching myself photography just because I loved it. No big plans — just passion. Then one day, a good friend asked me to photograph their wedding. I had never done anything like that before. But the moment I picked up the camera on their big day — everything changed. Capturing those real, unrepeatable moments felt meaningful.
That experience was the final push. I realized I didn’t just want to take beautiful photos — I wanted to help people remember how their day felt. And that’s exactly what I do now. Today, I photograph weddings across the Netherlands and Mallorca. Whether it’s a stylish venue in Amersfoort or a warm celebration under the Mallorcan sun, I capture weddings with care, emotion, and attention to detail. I work with couples who want more than just pretty pictures — they want something that feels true to them.
How it all started
I’m originally from Finland and now live in the Netherlands with my Dutch wife, Margot — we met at a yoga retreat in Portugal and got married on Mallorca, a place that still feels like home.
Before becoming a wedding photographer, I worked in the corporate world as a business controller. It was structured and predictable — but I missed working with people and creating something meaningful. During that time, I developed my photography skills on my own, shooting landscapes during travels and holidays.
Looking back, all of that was preparation. That one wedding changed my direction — and gave me the courage to do what I really love.
Why I do this work
Photography gives me energy because it connects me with what really matters: connection, atmosphere, and meaning. What I love most is being invited into someone’s wedding day and quietly capturing moments they’ll treasure forever.
I work in a calm, relaxed way — no awkward posing or big productions. I listen carefully to your wishes, and I capture the day in a way that feels natural, beautiful, and personal. I’m fluent in English, Finnish and Spanish, and learning Dutch (so yes, you might catch a little mistake here and there ?).
This work gives me freedom, creativity, and purpose. And I’m proud of what I’ve built — a business that reflects who I am and makes people genuinely happy.

A few things I love beyond the camera
When I’m not photographing weddings, I love being outside and staying active — especially when it involves two wheels or a yoga mat.
I’m a big fan of road biking — especially when I get the chance to ride in Mallorca. I’m currently training for the Mallorca 312, one of the toughest cycling events on the island (and a dream goal of mine).
Ik spreek Fins, Engels en Spaans, en leer nog elke dag een beetje beter Nederlands (al kan er soms nog een foutje in sluipen 😉).
